It seems like we have so much to do in so little time. Like get immunizations, get rid of all of our furniture, finish off the Dancing Elephant’s cards, move out of our apartment and into Grandma’s house, pack the smallest amount of suitcases possible, attend all of our Christmas gatherings, visit friends and say our final good-byes, and head off to the airport. Really it’s even more than that. Those are just the basics. Others include purging, clearing out the few rooms we have, and cleaning, and collecting more necessities at the store, and also finding more suitcases, plus getting all of our clothes and stuff down to the minimum. Even if it doesn’t seem like a lot it is.

Also our friends Britt and Pam are coming with us for two weeks! And we already have our tickets. There is so much that we have already done now that I think about it. All of this purging we have done through out our whole lives all comes down to this.

We will miss a lot of people and it will be quite sad to move, but most people just tell us how excited they are for us and that they know how long that this has been on our hearts and minds. Ever since we got back from our first trip (Mom and Dad’s second) we have always considered moving there. Some things got in the way but now we know that God was working it all out from as far back as I can remember.

When we first get to Cambodia we will probably first try to learn the language and learn even more about the culture. Build friendships and strengthen the ones we already have, and reunite with all of our friends (we haven’t seen them for over three years!).

And also we have already gotten new blogs for Cambodia thanks to Dad (thanks Dad!)! And hopefully will continue blogging through out and into our move. We are officially leaving at 8:30 am on January 3rd, 2015 (that is the take off time, we will try to get there even before).

We are pretty gung-ho about moving, well at least I am. We will also miss all of family and friends, we will try to stay in touch with everyone, and you can go to our new website here.

If you have any questions I will answer them in my next post!
